Fees and Tuition Assistance

We have an annual registration fee of $125.00 per child. In addition to tuition, we bill $30.00 a month per family for materials and snacks. Tuition will be increased annually for a cost-of-living adjustment. *We have a 2-half day per week minimum at our Center.  We require a 2-week notice for schedule changes or discontinuing our service. New families holding a spot for more than 3 weeks will pay a one-time 1 month hold fee of 50% of their child’s monthly tuition. We can only hold a spot for one month.

The Center is open from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Drop off cut-off is 11:00 am.

Morning hours are anytime between 7:00 and 1:00 pm. If you pick your child up after 1:00 pm it is considered a full day. Children cannot be in care for over 10 hours on any one day.

Late fees will be charged for children picked up after closing.

At South Whidbey Children’s Center, our core belief is that high quality early childhood education should be accessible to everyone in our community. That is why we are a non-profit, with over 40% of our families receiving financial aid.

We take great pride in making SWCC a safe, equitable and diverse home for early learning. Our standards and accreditation put us among the elite top 10% of early learning centers in the country and we believe that this level of care and education should be accessible to everyone in our community.

We nurture and educate the whole child, fostering deep roots for the whole person. By making SWCC work for you, your child and your family, we believe we are fostering deep roots for our community as well.

If you would like to learn more about arranging financial aid for your family, please call or email our office at (360) 221-4499 or director@swchildrenscenter.com

Financial aid is arranged on an individual family basis. We ask that families first apply to Working Connections Child Care via WA DCYF to see if they qualify for childcare subsidies prior to applying to SWCC for financial aid. We will work with you directly and privately to find an arrangement that works, dependent upon current grants and funding.
